Teatime Opera brings the methods of theatre to the world of opera, creating innovative, flexible productions that entertain, challenge and inspire. Teatime productions work in venues of all sizes, from professional theatres to village halls.

 

At the heart of Teatime Opera is the permanent ensemble, whose continuing collaboration brings depth and understanding to the company’s work. The mutual trust that comes from working together over an extended period of time allows the members to take greater creative and emotional risks in their search for dramatic truth.

Teatime Opera's first production was Mozart's Bastien und Bastienne in 2013, which toured in and around London. Our current productions, Unknowing and The Telephone, are being performed in venues around London and the UK.
